December 18, 2009— I'm struggling with three late-stage, untreated illnesses—Lyme, Babesiosis and Bartonella—which resulted from tick bite(s) more than 30 years ago in the United States. Treatment is a challenge. I'm just at the very beginning of this battle.

The impact of illness and treatment on my ability to work and keep up with communications is severe. With the expert and creative help of Torry Mendoza, who wove this website, my web page is now the site where you can find factual information that I receive the most requests for about articles, books, and reference questions.

This web page is also the hub for links to my photos, videotaped talks, podcasts and other most frequently asked-for media, and to social networking sites where, when able, I post other kinds of information.

Starting January 1, 2010 (by the calendar that rules where I live), I'll begin posting new photos to my new blog (see orange button above). My goal is to post photos every day during months of treatment that begin on the first of the year. I'll also post some text, including health updates. Illness has kept me home for more than two years now, so I look forward to connecting with your thinking on your blogs, websites and social networking, as well.

Welcome to those who are visiting from around the world. The addition of babelfish to this page will help translate this English-language text into many mother-tongues.

I'm using Twitter as an RSS feed for my website: So before you leave this web page, please take a moment to click on the blue "t" if you want updates.

in struggle and solidarity,
Leslie
